Below are the Terms and Conditions applicable to our store. Please read before placing an order or submitting any information. There is also a FAQ page that contains answers to many common questions, and an Ordering Info page for helpful instructions on finding items and placing an order at our store.
Because they are typically the most sought after items, our Shipping Information, Return Policy, and Privacy Statement are covered on separate pages. Other Terms and Conditions are listed below.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Simply select Credit Card as the payment method during checkout, and you will be asked for your credit card information at the last checkout step.
Although you may ship to a different address, a confirmed billing address (the address on your credit card statement) must be provided or your order will be declined by our credit card processor. Please note that for credit card orders with different billing and shipping addresses, we reserve the right to request verification from the customer before shipping and to refuse shipment if such verification is not provided and/or we deem the verification to be suspicious in any way. In such cases, we may ship the order to the billing address or cancel the order and refund the credit card payment. These measures are taken to protect customers (and ourselves) from fraudulent credit card usage.
NOTE: Credit card information is transmitted via a secure (SSL-encrypted) connection to our credit card processor. We do not see or store the credit card information at any time, even for registered customers. You may read more about our site's security in the Security section below.
We accept payment through PayPal accounts. You will be taken to PayPal to log in and choose payment options and a shipping address. When finished, hit the Continue button to be brought back to our store. You will then find yourself at the last checkout step. Review your order items, shipping method, personal information (billing and shipping), and total before clicking the Submit Order button.
We accept store gift certificates as payment at checkout. Select Gift Certificate as the payment method during checkout and enter your Gift Certificate ID at the last checkout step. If the gift certificate amount is less than your order total, you will be asked for another gift certificate or another payment type to pay for the remainder. If the gift certificate amount exceeds the order total, the remaining amount will be retained and the gift certificate may be used again until the total amount is redeemed.
NOTE: If you would like to purchase a gift cetificate for someone, please read the Gift Certificates section below. If you are purchasing a gift certificate, you will not be allowed to use another gift certificate as the payment method.
We also accept checks as payment. Simply select Check as the payment method during checkout. Checks must be in US dollars, drawn on a US bank, and must be received within 10 days of order placement or your order will be canceled. Once your check has cleared, we will ship your order.
There is a $25 fee and loss of check payment privileges for checks returned due to insufficient funds.

We accept money order payments through our store. Select Money Order as the payment method during checkout. Money orders must be in US dollars, drawn on a US bank, and must be received within 10 days of order placement or your order will be canceled. Once your money order is received and funds verified, we will ship your order.

Orders shipped to New York State addresses will be charged sales tax. The rate is based on the NYS county to which the order is being shipped. Under New York State law, sales tax is charged on the combined total cost of taxable merchandise and shipping charges.

Whenever sensitive information is being transmitted via our website - such as during login, registration, and checkout - it is encrypted (encoded) between your computer and our website using secure socket layer (SSL) technology. Encryption prevents outside parties from reading the information being sent.
You can verify that you have a secure connection to our or any other website by looking at the web address near the top of most web browsers. If the address begins with https (e.g., https://www.bloatedtoe.com), the connection is secure (normal connections will display http in the web address). In addition, many web browsers will display a padlock symbol (
) either near the top or the bottom of the browser window when a secure connection is detected. Often these symbols may be clicked or double-clicked to bring up a window that displays information about the website and the status of its security certificate (valid, expired, etc.) and identity.
If you are on a page in our store and are being asked for sensitive information such as address, telephone, and/or a credit card number, you shoud see https in the web address as mentioned above. Depending on your web browser, you may also see a padlock symbol. If you do not at least see https in the web address, do not enter any information and contact us at service@bloatedtoe.com right away.
To further protect your credit card information, we do not store credit card numbers or any other information related to customers' credit cards, even for registered users. When checking out with a credit card at our store, your payment is processed by a secure credit card processor and we do not view or retain the information for any reason.

Customers are allowed, but not required, to register with our store. You may do so at any time by clicking the "Register" link near the top of most store pages. A form will appear in which you may enter all required information (denoted by a red asterisk). If you plan to use a credit card for purchases, please make sure the billing address you enter matches the address on your credit card statement. If the shipping address is different, check the "Ship to a different address" box and enter the shipping information. Then choose a username and password; these must be different from one another and it is recommended that each be at least 5 characters in length. When finished, click Submit. You will receive on-screen and email confirmation of your registration.
You may also register during checkout. The process is similar to that above except that the username and password fields will not be marked as required (with a red asterisk). If you do not enter a username and password during checkout, then you will not be registered.
There are advantage and privileges afforded to registered customers. On future visits to our store, you may simply login and avoid typing all of your information at checkout. (Note: Credit card information is NOT stored). Registered customers may also view their order history and print invoices, create Wish Lists, and rate and review products in our store. (Note: All reviews are subject to administrative approval before being publicly displayed.)
Registered customers may modify or delete their profiles at any time. Simply login and click on the appropriate link in the "Your Cart" menu along the right side of each store page. Whenever you modify or delete your profile, you will receive on-screen and email confirmation. If you receive an email confirmation that your profile has been modified/deleted and you haven't personally done so, please notify us right away.
If you are registered and have forgotten your username and/or password, you may recover either/both by going to Username Recovery or Password Recovery and entering your email address..

From time to time, we may issue Store News regarding new product additions, discounts/coupons, etc. If you would like to receive such announcements, you may subscribe to our Store News.
To do so, go to the "Store News" menu along the right side of each store page. Enter your email address and click Subscribe. On the next page, you will see the news lists available for subscription. Check or uncheck the boxes corresponding to each list as desired and click the Subscribe button. Once you are subscribed, you will receive an email confirmation. This and all subscriber emails you receive will contain a link which you may use to unsubscribe from our Store News.

Our store also offers gift certificates. They are available in amounts from $10.00 to $500.00.
To purchase a gift certificate, click on the Gift Certificates link in the "Special" menu along the right side of each store page. Fill in your and the recipient's names, your message, and the gift certificate amount. Then choose a delivery method - email or postal mail.
If choosing email delivery, enter the recipient's email address and then add the Gift Certificate to your shopping cart. Once your payment has been processed, the Gift Certificate information and redemption instructions will be sent to the recipient via email.
If you choose postal delivery, enter the recipient's name and mailing address. Then choose a Gift Certificate template (style) from the drop-down menu. You may preview the appearance of each template by choosing it in the menu and clicking Preview. Once you have chosen the template, add the Gift Certificate to your cart.
If you have a Gift Certificate you would like to redeem, please read about paying with a Gift Certificate in the Payment Methods section above. You may visit the Gift Certificates page at any time to check the status of a Gift Certificate.

If you are a registered user, you may create a Wish List of items from our store. You may add items to your Wish List just as you would add them to your shopping cart. Select the quantity and any applicable options you desire and click Add to Wish List. You may even add Gift Certificates to your Wish List. (Note: You must be logged in for this option to appear on the Gift Certificate creation form.)
Once you have created your Wish List, you may log in any time to add items from your list to your shopping cart for purchase. Please keep in mind that the quantity displayed in the Wish List will be added to your cart, but you may change the quantity from the shopping cart page.
You may also email your Wish List to friends and family. The email will contain a link that gives access to your Wish List so friends/family may purchase items for you.
As items are purchased, whether by you or a friend/family member, they are deducted from the list. This prevents duplicate purchases.
If you have received a Wish List email from someone and would like to purchase Wish List items for that person, please make sure to add items to your shopping cart from the Wish List. Otherwise, the items you purchase will not be deducted from the Wish List properly.

If you are a registered user, you may log in and view your orders history at any time. Simply click the Orders History link in the "Your Cart" menu along the right side of each store page. On the page that follows, select the criteria on which you would like to base your search for orders. The resulting list of orders may be sorted several ways, and any/all orders may be selected for invoice printing.
If you perform an orders search that displays no results, check the criteria you selected for the search. If unsure, remove all criteria and do a search based on all dates. If there are still no results, make sure you are logged into an account through which you have placed orders. If you placed orders in the past without being logged in, or under a different account, these orders will show up in your search.
