Eric and Leigh Gibson were raised on a dairy farm in Ellenburg in far upstate New York. They started taking lessons at a local music store, and began playing together in 1983. By 1994, they recorded their first album with Mike and Junior Barber. Signing with Hay Holler Records, they produced 3 more albums and won the IBMA’s Emerging Artist of the Year award. With Sugar Hill Records, they did another 3 albums, reaching #1 on the bluegrass charts. In 1903, the Gibson's debuted on the Grand Ole Opry. (Read More) |
