Dan Berggren is a native of Minerva, about 10 miles west of Schroon Lake. One of the finest songwriters in the Northeast, he has released 5 recordings of original songs. Dan is professor emeritus of audio and radio studies at SUNY Fredonia, and received the President's Award for Excellence in Teaching, plus the NYS Outdoor Education Association Art & Literature Award.
